Abstract:
To provide a polyacetal copolymer having excellent production stability and thermal stability such as formaldehyde generation amount while maintaining levels of physical properties such as creep properties and provide a method for polymerizing the same.SOLUTION: There are provided: a polyacetal copolymer obtained by copolymerizing trioxane, a cyclic acetal compound having an oxyalkylene group having two or more carbon atoms in the ring and an epoxy compound having one epoxy group in one molecule and comprising a hydrocarbon in addition to the epoxy group; and a method for polymerizing the polyacetal copolymer obtained by copolymerizing trioxane, a cyclic acetal compound having an oxyalkylene group having two or more carbon atoms in the ring and an epoxy compound having one epoxy group in one molecule and comprising a hydrocarbon in addition to the epoxy group in the presence of a cationic polymerization catalyst.SELECTED DRAWING: None
