Abstract:
To provide a polyacetal copolymer which has excellent rigidity, creep resistance characteristics and the like and also has thermal stability and the like, and a method for stably producing the same.SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyacetal copolymer includes a step of copolymerizing 100 pts.mass of trioxane (A), 0.05-5 pts.mass of a cyclic acetal compound (B), and 0.001-1 pt.mass of an aliphatic glycidyl ether compound (C) having a chlorine content of 1-500 mass ppm in the presence of a linear formal compound (D) as a molecular weight regulator. In the step, when the total mass (g) of (A)-(C) is a, the number of moles of (D) is b, and the total numbers of moles of water and methanol contained in (A)-(C) are c and d respectively, a, b, c and d are set so as to satisfy (b+c+d)/a=1.5-7 μmol/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None
