Abstract:
A method for producing a polyacetal copolymer comprises a step for copolymerizing 100 parts by mass of trioxane (A), 0.05-5 parts by mass of a cyclic acetal compound (B) that has an oxyalkylene group having at least 2 carbon atoms in the ring thereof, and 0.001-0.5 parts by mass of a predetermined aliphatic glycidyl ether compound (C) having a sodium content of 0.1-100 ppm by mass, in the presence of a linear formal compound (D) serving as a molecular weight regulator, wherein the step is set such that when the total mass (g) of (A)-(C) is defined as a, the molar number of (D) is defined as b, and the total molar numbers of methanol and moisture contained in (A)-(C) are defined as c and d, respectively, (b+c+d)/a=4.5 to 9 μmol/g is satisfied.
