Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled composition, by blending a specific polyethylene terephthalate based block copolymer in a specific amount with a polyacetal resin, having improved moldability and capable of giving molded articles having a high elongation without impairing thermal stability and surface characteristics of molded articles.
CONSTITUTION: A composition obtained by blending 100pts.wt. polyacetal resin with 5W15pts.wt. block copolymer, containing 10W55wt.% polyalkylene glycol segments having 600W3,000, preferably 700W2,000 molecular weight and polyethy lene terephthalate segments and 0.5W1.4, preferably 0.7W1.2 inherent viscosity.
