Abstract:

To provide a polyamide woven or knitted fabric for clothing applications, that has a fibril feeling with dense feeling, an expanding/straightening feel and a silk style fibril appearance without using an ultra fine fiber, a conjugate fiber yarn and the like and is excellent in a fabric strength.

A woven or knitted fabric is treated by a tumbler processing at wet state with a moisture content of 40% to 150% after heating treatment in a process liquid including 3% to 10% of benzyl alcohol at 80°C to 125°C before coloring and includes at least 30 mass% of a polyamide multifilament of which at least a part of a fiber surface has a fibrillation part.
