Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject monofilament having high flexibility and abrasion resistance and useful for fishing line and other fishery materials by melt- spinning a resin composition produced by mixing a nylon 6 homopolymer, etc., with a polyether amide elastomer, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective monofilament is produced by melt-spinning a resin composition obtained by mixing a nylon 6 homopolymer or a nylon copolymer with preferably 0.3-15wt.% of a polyamide elastomer such as polyether amide elastomer or polyether ester amide elastomer.
