CONSTITUTION: A macromonomer (a) having a number-average MW of 1,000W20,000, obtd. by polymerizing a monomer giving a polymer segment well compatible with the following component B, such as styrene (derivative), (meth) acrylonitrile, etc., is copolymerized with a monomer mixture (b) of 70W1wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid (anhydride) and 30W99wt% other comonomer [e.g., styrene or (meth)acrylonitrile] to obtain a graft polymer (C) having a number- average MW of 5,000W200,000. 5W95pts.wt. polyamide (A) (e.g., nylon 6) is blended with 95W5pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (B) [e.g., a (high-impact) PS or an acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene terpolymer] other than the component A and 1W30pts.wt. (per 100pts.wt. of the combined quantity of the components A and B) component C.
