Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition consisting of a specific ratio of a polyamide resin, a carbon fiber, a fluorocarbon polymer and a high density PE, having small coefficient of dynamic abrasion, excellent in mechanical characteristics, heat resistance and sliding properties and suitable for sliding members, etc., such as bearing.
CONSTITUTION: This composition consists of (A) 98-35wt.% of a polyamide resin such as nylon 6, (B) 1-50wt.% of carbon fiber, (C) 0.5-30wt.% of fluorocarbon polymer such as polytetrafluoro-ethylene and (D) 0.5-30wt.% of high-density PE (with the proviso that total amount of the components A to D is 100wt.%).
