PURPOSE: To obtain the subject polymer which is excellent in stability, shows high crystallinity and crystallization rate, and decreases molding temp. and useful for automobile parts, etc., by blending an aromatic dihalogen compd., aromatic trihalogen compd., etc.
CONSTITUTION: This compd. of formula V (wherein is a halogen, etc.; Ar is shown by formulae VI-VIII) is obtd. by blending a (hetero) aromatic dihalogen (A) shown by formulae I-III (wherein Z is a halogen, C is Cl or Br: R is H or a 1-20C alkyl; Q is single bond, a bivalent group; x is 1-4; o is 1-3), a compd. (B) shown by formula IV [wherein m is 0-2; Y is -OR or -OM (M is H, an alkali metal, etc.); Ar is a 5-24C bivalent aromatic] comprising 1-10 mole component A, 0-5%, based on the total of A compd., of an aromatic tri(tetra) halogen compd., Ar1Zn (C) (wherein Ar1 is a 6-24C aromatic hetero group; n is 3 or 4), and 50-100% sodium sulfide (D) in the presence of an organic solvent (E) at a temp not lower than 212°C.
