PURPOSE: Title composition, having a small cure shrinkage and improved adhesion, prepared by using a dicyclopentadiene adduct having a specified radicalpolymerizable double bond, as crosslinkable monomer.
CONSTITUTION: Polybutadiene resin composition, prepared by using an adduct of formula I or II which is obtained by the reaction of dicyclopentadiene with maleic acid or that of hydroxyldicyclopentadiene with maleic anhydride, or their mixture as the crosslinkable monomer or as part of crosslinkable monomers, which comprises (A) a polybutadiene resin, (B) a crosslinkable monomer and (C) a curing agent. Where 30W70wt% of (B) is used based on (A), but, when the adduct of formula I or II is used together with other crosslinkable monomers, 30wt% or more, preferably 50wt% or more of the adducts are used based on the total amount of (B). In addition to those of formula I or II, styrene, etc. are used as (B) and benzoyl peroxide, etc. as (C).
