Abstract:
To provide a new highly strong polybutylene terephthalate fiber spun- dyed with a coloring matter, and to provide a seat belt webbing having good energy absorbability and not needing a coloring process.
This polybutylene terephthalate fiber characterized by containing at least one coloring matter, and having a strength of ≥5.0 cN/dtex, an elongation of ≥20.0%, and a strength of ≤2.5 cN/dtex on an elongation of 10%. The seat belt webbing characterized by using the polybutylene terephthalate fibers as the warps of the webbing.
