Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. excellent in moldability and resistance to hydrolysis, chemicals, and thermal aging by compounding a polybutylene terephthalate resin with a plurality of specific compds. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is prepd. by compounding a polybutylene terephthalate resin, an epoxy compd. having an epoxy equivalent of 500 or lower (e.g. a glycidyl ether of bisphenol F), at least one compd. selected from the group consisting of a higher fatty acid amide, an ester, a metal salt, a polyalkylene wax, and a polyorganosiloxane (e.g. Hoechst Wax OP, a product of Hoechst Japan Ltd.), and at least one stabilizer selected from the group consisting of a hindered phenol thermal stabilizer, a thioether thermal stabilizer, and a trivalent org. phosphorus compd. (e.g. Irganox 1010, a product of Ciba- Geigy Co., Ltd.; Mark AO-4125, a product of Adeka Argus Chemical Co., Ltd.; and Irgafos 168, a product of Ciba-Geigy Co., Ltd.).
