Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polycarbonate polymer having good compatibility with charge transport materials, causing neither whitening nor gelation even when dissolved in a solvent, and having excellent surface hardness and abrasion resistance, to prepare a resin coating liquid obtained by dissolving the polymer and a charge transport material in a solvent, causing neither whitening nor gelation during long term storage and, in coating, causing no crystallization, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor keeping good abrasion resistance and electrophotographic properties for a long term and realizing good cleanability.
SOLUTION: The polymer has recurring units (2) represented by formula (2) as a main ingredient, wherein all or a part of the polymer ends are stopped with a terminal group (3) represented by formula (3) and 0.5 g/dl solution of the polymer in methylene chloride has a reduced viscosity [ηsp/c] of 0.2-10.0 dl/g at 20°C (in formula 3, Rf2 is a F-substituted alkyl directly bonded with O of the carbonate bond in formula (3) without being through an arylene group).
