To obtain the subject composition excellent in transparency, mechanical properties, heat resistance, etc., having low birefringence, excellent in melt flowability, mold release characteristics, etc., when molded, and capable of being molded at a lower temperature than every, by compounding a polycarbonate copolymer which is obtained by copolymerization reaction of dihydroxy compounds with a carbonate precursor, and an aliphatic compound.
This polycarbonate resin composition comprises (A) a polycarbonate copolymer containing repeating units of formulae I and II [R1 is an alkyl or the like; R2 and R3 are each H or an alkyl; R4 is an alkyl, a halogen or the like; (k) is 0-3; (l) s 0-2] in an amount of 100 pts.wt. and (B) an aliphatic compound (for example, stearic acid, glycerol monostearate and calcium stearate) in an amount of 0.0005-5 pts.wt. A copolymer having the repeating unit of formula I in an amount of 5-90 mol% based on the total repeating units is preferably used as the component A. The component A preferably has a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000-150,000.
