To obtain a polycarbonate resin composition excellent in antimicrobial activity, surface appearance, rigidity, etc., and little in discoloration by compounding a resin consisting of a polycarbonate having excellent antimicrobial activity and a thermoplastic graft copolymer having a specific composition with a soluble phosphate-based glass powder.
This polycarbonate resin composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin consisting of (i) 10-90wt. % of a polycarbonate resin preferably having a viscosity molecular weight of 10,000-100,000 and (ii) 90-10wt.% of a thermoplastic graft copolymer obtained by grafting a cyanogenated vinyl compound and an aromatic vinyl compound on a diene-based rubber component with (B) 0.1-9 pts.wt. of a soluble phosphate- based glass powder containing Ag2O. The component B preferably contains 0.1-8wt.% of Ag2O and is composed mainly of P2O5, Al2O3, ZnO and B2O3. Further, the component B preferably has an average particle diameter of ≤10μm.
