Abstract:
To provide a novel single-end polycyclic aromatic group-terminated polyorganosiloxane that can be used, for example, as a treatment agent for nanocarbon in a composition including silicone.SOLUTION: The single-end polycyclic aromatic group-terminated polyorganosiloxane has a chemical structure represented by formula (1) as given below. (In formula (1), X is an aromatic condensed ring group or an aromatic condensed ring group having an alkylene group bonded thereto; R1s are each independently a hydrogen atom, an organic group, or a silicon-containing group such as a siloxy group, a siloxane group or the like; R2 is a divalent organic group; and n is an integer of 1 or more.)SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
