To provide a polyester-based adhesive composition which causes less yellowing and has excellent ultraviolet absorbency while having excellent adhesive strength and substrate adhesiveness, an adhesive, an adhesive sheet, and an optical member with an adhesive layer.SOLUTION: A polyester-based adhesive composition comprises a polyester-based resin [I] containing a structural unit derived from a polycarboxylic acid (A) and a structural unit derived from a polyol (B) and an ultraviolet absorber [II], wherein the ultraviolet absorber (II) is an ultraviolet absorber having a hydroxyl value of 900 mgKOH/g or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
