To obtain a polyester-based film excellent in heat resistance, capable of stably covering the surface of metal plates even after passing through heat history in a canning step or the like, excellent in barrier property and corrosion resistance and preferably usable as a material for making metal cans for foodstuffs, to obtain a film-laminated metal plate excellent in canning treatment and to obtain a metal can excellent in corrosion resistance and preservation of food content.
This film is a polyester-based film and includes ≤0.70 wt.% ethylene terephthalate cyclic trimer and has ≤0.45 coefficient of dynamic friction of the film surface at 80°C and the film is also characterized by having ≤2.0% rate of dimensional change when the film is laminated on a metal plate and is heat-treated at 210°C for 2 min.
