Abstract:
To provide a fiber which is free of problems during a fiber production process, capable of obtaining a fiber product having excellent flexibility and recoverability at a low cost.SOLUTION: A polyester-based binder staple fiber is a single-phase all-melt type polyester-based binder fiber constituted solely from a binder component, characterized in that: the binder component is a copolymerized polyester ether containing 0.01-5 wt.% of a crystal nucleating agent, constituted of a block copolymer of polyhexamethylene terephthalate being a hard segment and polytetramethylene glycol being a soft segment; a content of the soft segment constituting the copolymerized polyester ether is 10-40 wt.%; and a melting point of the copolymerized polyester ether is 100-150°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
