To obtain new polyester combined filament yarn for obtaining knit or woven fabric having an elastic bulky feeling, a powdery touch with a soft and dry feeling, a suitable stiffness and body, a draping property and a natural feeling of unevenness.
This polyester combined filament yarn C is constructed by a multifilament A and a multifilament B satisfying the physical properties of the yarns at least in the following ranges and is a combined filament yarn intertwined at 20-100/m degree of intertwining, and the multifilaments A project on the surface of the knit or woven fabrics as loops by knitting or weaving the combined filament yarn, dyeing and setting. The multifilament A; 20-80% (in denier ratio) content of multifilaments having ≥3d monofilament denier in the combined filament yarn, (-)3-5% SHW (A), (-)15-0% SHD (A), DE (A)≥50%, the multifilament B; 80-20% (in denier ratio) content of multifilaments having ≤2.5d single filament denier and ≥3.5g/d breaking strength in the combined filament yarn, 5-60% SHW (B), 10-80% SHD (B), DE (B)≤40% (SHW is a shrinkage by a hot water, SHD is a shrinkage by a dry heat (at 160°C), DE is a braking elongation).
