Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester filament nonwoven fabric extremely little in the breakage of the filaments, having a proper elastic property, a soft touch and a uniform metsuke(a weight unit), and useful as a material for wrapping body warmers and the like by allowing the filaments to have a prescribed strength, a prescribed elastic modulus and a prescribed elastic recovery factor.
SOLUTION: This polyester filament nonwoven fabric comprises a polytrimethylene terephthalate (intrinisic viscosity is preferably 0.6-1.2) having an oligomer content of ≤3 wt.%. Therein, the filaments constituting the nonwoven fabric have a strength of 0.7-4 g/d, an elastic modulus of 15-40 g/d and an elastic recovery factor of 70-100% on an elongation of 20%.
