Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve impact resistance of a film for covering a metal plate for can in a mixed polyester constituting one surface layer and in a polyester or mixed polyester constituting the other surface layer, in which crystal melting enthalpy and melting point are specified, by specifying the difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of glass transition temperature and impact resistance index of polyester of each layer.
SOLUTION: One surface layer of a laminated polyester film for covering a metal comprises a polyester of 70-30wt.%, in which repeating unit is ethylene terephthalate or ethylene naphthalate, and mixed polyester of 30-70wt.%, in which repeating unit is butylene terephthalate or butylene naphthalate. The other surface layer compurises a polyester or mixed polyester, in which crystal melting enthalpy is 25 J/g or less and melting point is 165-210°C. The difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of glass transition temperature of a polyester constituting each layer is 10°C or less and impact resistance index is 4 or more.
