Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a polyester film, in which a melt-extruded polyester sheet can be satisfactorily adhered to a cooling drum by an electrostatic adhesion casting method, and the amount of acetaldehyde eluted from the polyester film in a retort treatment can be reduced.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a polyester film of the present invention includes the steps of melt-extruding a raw material containing a first polyester having a potassium element content of 25 ppm or more and a second polyester having a potassium element content of 0 ppm or more and less than 10 ppm to obtain a polyester film having a potassium element content of less than 100 ppm. In the raw material, the amount of the second polyester is larger than the amount of the first polyester.SELECTED DRAWING: None
