Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester film for OHP having excellent transparency, transportation and adhesiveness to an ink image receiving layer by laminating a specific coating film to the surface of a polyester film.
CONSTITUTION: This polyester film for OHP is obtained by coating at least one side of a polyester film such as a drawable polyethylene terephthalate with an aqueous solution consisting essentially of a component comprising (A) 50-80wt.% of a copolyester composed of 116mol% based on the whole carboxylic acid component of sulfonic acid base-containing dicarboxylic acid component (e.g. 5-Na sulfoisophthalic acid) and having 20-90°C secondary transition point, (B) 10-30wt.% of a polyalkylene oxide having 600-2,000 molecular weight and (C) 3-25wt.% of fine particles having 20-80mm average particle diameters, drying and drawing to laminate the coating film to the polyester. The thickness of the coating film is preferably 0.01-1μm.
