Abstract:
To obtain a polyester film having little irregularities in thickness, particularly in the longitudinal direction, in high speed and productivity, by providing a composite of a polyester resin and an imide compound.
This film is obtained by providing a composite of a polyestar resin and an imide compound and by subjecting the composite to film formation while applying electrostatic charge to the composite after melted. The blending ratio of the imide compound in the composite is preferably 0.1-2.0wt.%. This process allows a high-speed casting and production of the objective film of high quality that is excellent in biaxial orientation effect, has little irregularities in thickness, and does not contain any foreign matter or any gel.
