Title:
POLYESTER FOR LAMINATION TO METAL PLATE AND FILM COMPRISING SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3757639
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester for lamination to a metal plate excellent in flavor properties, adhesion to a metal plate, inhibition of peeling of a film by heat in various can manufacturing processes, wear resistance, sliding property and impact resistance, and a film comprising the same.
SOLUTION: The titled polyester for lamination to a metal plate comprises a polyester, wherein 10 equivalents/106 g or less of methoxy end groups are contained, the difference between the amount of carboxyl end groups and that of methoxy end groups is 25-50 equivalents/106 g and the content of metal elements satisfies the following equations (I), (II) and (III). Formula I: 1≤Ge≤100. Formula II: 0.1≤M≤100. Formula III: 0.01≤M/Ge≤2. In the formulae, Ge is a content (ppm) of the germanium element in the polyester and M is a content (ppm) of at least one metal element selected among an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, zinc, manganese, cobalt and titanium elements in the polyester.
