Abstract:
To provide a polyester excellent in heat resistance, moldability, solvent resistance including alkali resistance, mechanical properties and biodegrability.
The polyester comprises 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid units and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol units, the molar ratio of trans-1,4- cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid unit and cis-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid unit in the 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid unit being 60:40-100:0, the molar ratio of trans-1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol unit and cis-1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol unit in the 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol unit being 40:60-100:0.
