Abstract:
To provide a polyester polymerization catalyst, producing the polyester excellent in molding processability and solving problems such as the deterioration of color tone, soil on spinneret, filter pressure elevation, yarn cutting, etc., on producing molding such as a fiber, film, bottle, etc., and a method for producing the polyester by using the catalyst.
This polyester polymerization catalyst contains a titanium compound and phosphorus compound mixed in a solvent at pH=4-6. The method for producing the polyester is provided by using the polymerization catalyst.
