Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the impact mechanical strength by altering the particle diameter distribution of an inorganic filler to be incorporated into the molding material.
CONSTITUTION: A molding material made by adding glass fibers in a chip form and a particulate inorganic filler to an unsaturated polyester resin, wherein the inorganic filler comprises a mixture of one having a larger mean particle diameter and one having a smaller mean particle diameter at a weight ratio of (70 to 80):(30 to 20).
