PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester resin blend which possesses good impact resistance and improved ultraviolet resistance by incorporating a polyarylate resin and a specified impact resistance improver into a specified polyester.

CONSTITUTION: A polyester resin (A), having repeating units represented by the formula (wherein R represents a 6-20C org. group, which is a decarboxylated residue, derived from a hexacarbocyclic dicarboxylic acid) derived from a cyclohexanedimethanol and a hexacarbocyclic dicarboxylic acid, in an amt. of 10 to 95 wt.% (hereinafter referred to as '%'), pref. 20 to 70%, is mixed with 3 to 85%, pref. 20 to 70%, polyarylate resin (B), and 2 to 30%, pref. 10 to 20%, impact-resistant improver (C) comprising a core-shell multi-layer polymer having a rubbery core and a (co)polymer outer shell, the polymer comprising units derived from a mixture of n-butyl acrylate with butadiene (e.g. an acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene graft copolymer).
