Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a polyester having a small amount of antimony and good polymerizability and excellent hue.
A polyester composition contains at least one compound selected from a group consisting of manganese, magnesium and calcium compounds, and titanium oxide particles satisfying specified relation of their contents and also contains antimony and germanium compounds by the contents of below 20 ppm in terms of a metal atom.
