Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fabric with soft and cashmere touch feeling with favorable skin touch, high in thermal insulation, free from any problem concerning physical properties, and excellent in pill resistance, and to provide a method for efficiently producing the knitted fabric.
SOLUTION: This polyester spun knitted fabric comprises polyester short fibers 0.01-10 denier in single fiber fineness and ≥2.5g/d in single fiber tenacity. There are no fused pills involved in singeing in the surface fluffs on the fabric, and an average fluff length of the surface fluffs 1 is 1.1-50mm and an average fluff density is ≥200 counts/cm.
