PURPOSE: To obtain new polyester woven or knit fabric having appropriate harshness, dry feeling, unaffected natural appearance and soft airy feeling, and at the same time having thinly raising smooth feeling and giving high class-image.

CONSTITUTION: This polyester woven or knit fabric consists of polyester yarn A having a twist coefficient (number of twist ×√D) of ≥7500 and unevenness of yarn fineness (URN) of ≥30%, and polyester yarn B essentially non-twisted and containing fibers extensible by ≥2% by dry-heat at 160°C for 10min.
