Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an insulated wire, which has the excellent thermal, mechanical, electrical and chemical characteristics and which has the excellent solder peeling property, by using a specific polyesterimide resin.

CONSTITUTION: Polyesterimide insulating coating contains the polyesterimide resin obtained by reacting (A) divalent carboxylic acid having negative penta- ring imide group or derivative thereof or the mixture thereof, (B) trivalent carboxylic acid or derivative thereof or the mixture thereof, (C) dihydric alcohol. A heat resistant insulated wire, of which softening temperature and the solder peeling property are improved and which can be treated with soldering, is thereby obtained economically.
