Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled composition having excellent impact resistance, heat resistance, mechanical strength, moldability and fluidity, comprising a polyether imide polymer and a specific polyorganosiloxane-based graft copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: The aimed composition consisting of (A) preferably 99W60wt.% polyether imide polymer [one having a repeating unit preferably shown by the formula (R1 and R2 are bifunctional organic group) as a main structural unit] and (B) preferably 1W40wt.% polyorganosiloxane-based graft copolymer obtained by subjecting polyorganosiloxane rubber having 3W30 degree of swelling measured with a solvent of toluene and copolymerized with a graft crosslinking agent to graft polymerization with a vinyl monomer.
