Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a lowly viscous liquid polyether excellent in low temperature properties and useful as a fuel binder by selecting a specified polyether consisting of 3,3-bisazidomethyloxetane and tetrahydrofuran. CONSTITUTION:A polyether consisting of 3,3-bisazidomethyl-oxetane and tetrahydrofuran, having a tetrahydrofuran component content of 20-60mol%, a number-average mol. wt. of 1000-5000 and a viscosity <=100P (50 deg.C) as measured with a Brookfield viscometer and represented by the formula (wherein (m) and (n) are positive integers).
