Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the processability and performance of a molded item by incorporating a polyetherimide and an amorphous arom. polyamide at a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is obtd. by compounding 40-99 pts.wt. (hereinbelow described as pts.) polyetherimide (A), pref. a compd. of the formula, 1-60 pts. amorphous arom. polyamide (B) with a heat of crystal fusion (measured with a differential scanning cahorimeter) of smaller than 1cal/g and, if necessary, 50 pts. or less elastomer component (C) based on 100 pts. components A and B.
