Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polyethylene compsn. remarkably improved in oxygen permeability.
CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene compsn. comprises 40-90wt.% low-density linear polyethylene having a density of 0.890 to 0.930g/cm3 and a hexane-soluble matter content of at most 18wt.%, and 60-10wt.% thermoplastic styrene-diolefin block copolymer or hydrogenation product thereof having a wt.-average mol.wt. of at least 70,000 and a styrene unit content of 5 to 40wt.%.
