Abstract:

To provide a polyethylene material excellent in high-speed moldability, high fluidity, rigidity, shock resistance, stress crack resistance, slidability, low odor property, food safety, lid-openability and lid-closability, further excellent in mechanical properties, capable of achieving high-cyclization of high-speed moldability, and having high crystallization speed.

Polyethylene for a container lid satisfies requirement of following characteristics (1)-(5): characteristic (1); MFR at the temperature of 190°C and at the load of 2.16 Kg is 1-10 g/10 min.: characteristic (2); HLMFR at the temperature of 190°C and at the load of 21.6 Kg is 80-400 g/10 min.: characteristic (3); HLMFR/MFR is 20-80: characteristic (4); the density is 0.955-0.965 g/cm3: and characteristic (5); Mw measured by HLMFR and GPC satisfies a relation: log[HLMFR]≤-3.85 log[Mw/10,000]+6.0.
