Abstract:
To obtain a resin composition for polyethylene crosslinked foams which is crosslinked by electron beams and has an excellent heat resistance, moldability and flexibility using a polyethylene resin prepared through high- pressure radical polymerization, and to provide a foam thereof.
The resin composition for polyethylene crosslinked foams has a high-pressure, radically polymerized polyethylene resin (resin a) having a density of from 0.915 to 0.924 g/cm3 and an MFR of from 0.5 to 15 g/10 min and a high-pressure, radically polymerized polyethylene resin (resin b) having a density of from 0.925 to 0.940 g/cm3 and an MFR of from 1 to 10 g/10 min. Here, the weight ratio of resin (a) to resin (b) is from 30:70 to 70:30.
