Title:
POLYGON MIRROR MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3510703
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To omit relative positioning adjusting work for a polygon mirror body in a code generating part for generating electric signals corresponding to respective reflection faces of the polygon mirror body in a polygon mirror motor.
CONSTITUTION: The polygon mirror motor to be used for a bar code reader for reading out a bar code by laser light is provided with a polygon mirror body 1 obtained by integrally molding plural reflection faces 1a, 1c formed on the side face parts of a polygon body in order to reflect laser light continously radiated in one direction to a range more than the outside size of a bar code and a code generating part 2 for generating electric signals corresponding to the reflection faces 1a, 1c, high speed rotational driving means 5, 11, 7, 9 for continuously rotating the body 1 at a high speed and a detection means for contactlessly detecting the code generation part 2 and outputting a generated electric signal to the bar code reader.
