Title:
POLYGON PROCESSING TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018140482
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve, in a polygon processing tool, a smaller diameter of a cutter body without deteriorating a positioning adjustment function for a blade edge.SOLUTION: In the tool formed by projecting a cutting edge 205 from an outer peripheral face 103 of a cutter body 101, a hollow 107 serving as an accommodating portion for a cutting insert 201 of the body 101 is formed such that the insert 201 is slidable forward and backward, using the projecting direction of the cutting edge 205 as a forward direction via a basal part 203, the insert 201 being configured to be fixed by a fixing bolt 301 screwed into a first screw hole 121. The insert 201 has, in a predetermined portion, a gradient pressed surface 225 so as to obtain a component force for forward movement when the predetermined portion of a peripheral surface, except an end face 213 on the center C1 side of the body, is pressed while the insert is disposed in the hollow 107. A headed bolt 401 is screwed into a second screw hole 131 and the position where a head part 403 comes into contact with the gradient pressed surface 225 is changed by adjusting an amount that the bolt is screwed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
