Abstract:
To provide a polygon scanner high in soundproofing and dust-proofing effects.
In this polygon scanner, a polygon mirror 2, a motor rotating the polygon mirror 2 and another packaging component 4 are mounted on one base plate 1, and the polygon scanner is covered with a shielding cover 3. In this case, for instance, a connector 5 connected with a wiring cord 6 from outside is arranged on the base plate 1 on a side opposed to the polygon mirror 2. Thus, the need of passing the wiring cord 6 through the shielding cover 3 is eliminated, so that the hermetically sealing performance of a polygon housing part is improved.
