To provide a polygonal wrench, a tightening tool combined with the polygonal wrench, and a tightening tool for handling the polygonal wrench, which can improve the tightening and removing work efficiency of a clamp, when an obstacle exists on a rotation trajectory of a long shank to be seized, or a short shank, or when rotation-engaging operation is repeated in bad visibility condition.
A hexagonal wrench 1 is formed in a straight line without a bend, and has a sphere portion 1c with hexagonal edges at one end thereof. Even if the hexagonal wrench 1 is inserted into a hexagonal hole 6a of a clamp 6 with a slight inclination, it is possible to engage the sphere portion 1c with the hexagonal hole 6a to thereby temporarily tighten the clamp 6. When carrying out the actual tightening, the other end of the hexagonal wrench 1 opposite to the sphere portion 1c is engaged with the hexagonal hole 6a of the clamp 6. A ratchet wrench 2 has a seizing portion 2a, a socket 2b, and a ratchet mechanism 2c disposed on one end of the seizing portion 2a for controlling a rotation direction of the outer peripheral surface while rotatably supporting an outer peripheral surface of the socket 2b.
