Abstract:
Organic phosphorus-containing compound, covalently bonded to polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane derivates, (I), is new. Organic phosphorus-containing compound, covalently linked to polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane derivates, of formula ([(R1c) n-1(SiO(1.5)) nR2c] m-G3)-P(G2-[R2b(SiO(1.5)) n(R1b) n-1] l)-(G1-[R2b(SiO(1.5)) n(R1a) n-1] k) (I), is new. R1a, R1b, R1c : branched or linear 1-20C alkyl chains, cycloalkyl, 1-20C alkoxy, aryloxy, (hetero)aryl- or arylalkyl; R2a, R2b, R2c : branched or linear 1-20C alkyl chains, 3-10C cycloalkyl, 1-20C alkoxy, 2-20C alkenyl, 2-20C alkenyloxy, aryloxy, 1-20C alkylthio, 1-20C carboxylate, (hetero)aryl, 1-20C alkyl halide, fused (hetero)aryl, 3-10C cycloalkyl, ethers, polyethers, polythioethers, amines, amides, carboxylates or aryl-bridged alkyl chains, in which the aryl structure has further substituents; G1-G3 : monovalent, phosphorus-bonded units comprising optionally substituted aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, heterocycloaliphatic, perfluoroalkylated, aromatic, heteroaromatic, condensed aromatic, condensed heteroaromatic units, preferably monovalent, phosphorus-bonded phenyl; n : >= 4, preferably 8; and either k, l, m : 0 or 1; or k+l+m : >= 1. Independent claims are included for: (1) a catalytically active composition comprising (I) and at least a metal from 9th, 8th, or 10th group of the periodic table elements; and (2) a process for hydroformylation of olefin mixtures comprising the catalytically active mixture.
