The 32-faced soccer-ball-shaped stationary article 10 is assembled with 12 right-pentagonal components 20 having folding pieces 22 extending in the tapered state from respective sides of right-pentagonal parts 21, and 20 right-hexagonal components 30 having folding pieces 32 extending in the tapered state from respective sides of right-hexagonal parts 31, and 90 coupling pieces 40 coupling the adjacent components to each other in such a way as astride the components. The right-polygonal components have slits 23 or 33 extending from the right polygonal parts to the folding pieces. A connection piece 40 is U-shaped with a slit 43 in the center longitudinal direction. The connection pieces are inserted into the slits 23 and 33 in the adjacent right polygonal parts in the inward folded state so that the folding pieces 22 and 32 of the adjacent components are in contact with each other, and are engaged with the folding pieces 22 and 32 in contact with each other. All the components are connected to one another by the insertion and engagement in this way.
