Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of solving such a problem that the performance of polyhydric alcohol fatty acid esters has been liable to be varied, and in such cases, the respective products have had to be diverted to uses suitable to the corresponding performances thereof, therefore having been troublesome so far.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 95-99.99 wt.% of a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester with an HLB number of 2-18 and (B) 0.01-5 wt.% of an ester of a compound bearing one hydroxyl group and one carboxyl group or a metal salt thereof and a compound bearing one carboxyl group or a metal salt thereof.
