To provide a polyimide belt capable of suppressing generation of abrasion powder and which is excellent in slidability and a method for manufacturing thereof.
The polyimide belt is characterized that surface roughness (Ra) inside the belt is 0.15-0.6 m and the maximum surface roughness (Rmax) is 3-15 m.
