Abstract:
To provide polyketone having excellent flexibility and breaking elongation, a polyketone composition and a polyketone film containing the same, an optical element and an image display device having the polyketone film, and a method for producing polyketone having excellent flexibility and breaking elongation.SOLUTION: A polyketone contains a structural unit of general formula (II). R1 is a divalent a chain group having 2-30 C and/or O atoms in the main chain. R2 independently represent a substituent. Of R1, if an atom adjacent to an aromatic ring is O, x that represents the number of substituents R2 of the aromatic ring adjacent to O is an integer of 0-4. Of R1, if an atom adjacent to an aromatic ring is C, x that represents the number of substituents R2 of the aromatic ring adjacent to C is an integer of 1-4. At least one of substituents R2 of the aromatic ring adjacent to C represents an electron-donating group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
