Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyketone fiber which has excellent thermal shrinkage characteristics and does not cause severs shrinkage, when it is wound up, processed, or used as a product, and to provide a polyketone fiber package on which a large amount of the polyketone fibers can stably be wound.
SOLUTION: This polyketone fiber comprises a polyketone polymer obtained by copolymerizing an olefin with carbon monoxide and having characteristics as the following (a) to (e). (a) A crystallization degree of 50 to 90%. (b) A crystal orientation degree of ≥90%. (c) A tensile strength of ≥7cN/dtex. (d) A tensile elastic modulus of ≥100 cN/dtex. (e) The maximum thermal shrinkage stress of 0.01 to 0.7 cN/dtex.
